Based on European traditions, the Elan Group’s luxury mall in Haryana’s IT hub will feature a scintillating boulevard.
The realty major Elan group has planned to uniquely design ‘Elan Imperial’ the first luxury mall at Gurugram. To be built at Gurugram’s Sector 82, the project introduces a one-of-a-kind concept—the fusion of retail and hospitality. The company has appointed BENOY, a widely recognized architectural firm, to reshape the architectural horizon of the city. The move will usher in a new era of stunning designs and innovative concepts in the dynamic world of real estate.
Ravish Kapoor, Managing Director, of Elan Group said, “We constantly work to push the boundaries of what is possible in real estate and now that we’ve welcomed the expertise of BENOY, we are set to create a quintessential masterpiece that promises to serve the current and future generations at a highly distinguished address.”
The design concept of Elan 82
Three focal points along the boulevard will feature arrival points to invite the guests to the very heart of the project. BENOY’s design approach is to create the three plazas as three unique experiences –
In one plaza, the guests will come across an impressive high-volume atrium behind a glazed façade. Once you move through, there are a series of escalators that climb up and around water cascades and digital presentations as the shopper ventures up to the upper levels of the retail.
On the opposite side of the project, a dedicated drop-off will be designed for the entertainment hub with a dynamically shaped plaza. This plaza will be lit from above through a beautifully detailed skylight. The design will ensure that there will be seamless vertical connectivity of the retail area through multiple lifts and escalators.
At the very centre, there is the jewel of the project, which is in the form of a floating pavilion and sits at the centre point of the master. Here, the guests can soak up the atmosphere or they can enjoy event presentations and promotions from around the multiple terraces.
“Considering our retail planning drives strong patronage, the very best outcomes for retailers and investors will be aligned to transform the face of Gurugram. This project will meet the aspirations and needs of the people of Gurugram and at the very same time, it’s introducing new concepts from around the globe,” says Mike Wilson-MacCormack, Design Director, BENOY.
In addition, the project will also feature retail anchors, renowned multiplexes, food courts, a family entertainment centre, and F&B with speciality double-height restaurants that have open terrace seating. The project will also feature one of the biggest premium food court spaces with a flexible seating area and kiosk area, among others.
